Design Guidelines and Specs

General Design Guidlines:Design in 1/12 scale:   1 foot = 1inch and always add bleed and finsishing area.  i.e. If the Wallscape Dimensions are 26'H x 18'W, Your design copy area should be 26"H x 18"W and your Canvas Area w/ bleed and finishing area will be 27”Hx 19”W

  • Design in 300 to 600 dpi, CMYK, Photoshop is ideal when working with us.  Your completed ad copy should be flattened to JPEG's or TIFF's for FTP upload.
  • Please add a finishing and bleed area to account for pockets and grommets in your design by adding ½ inch to your canvas on each side of the design copy (i.e. ½” = ½’).  Often with wallscape applications; the copy size is the finished size; so, we bleed onto the pocket, that means your design can bleed onto all finished areas where desired.  so make sure your bleed covers the pocket area, but just be sure not to place vital text and graphics in the pocket/ grommet zone or ‘finishing area’. 
  • If Worcester Sign Co. Is designing your ad copy, then send us high resolution pictures or Layered .PSD Files. As well as high resolution CMYK Logos and artwork.  There is a $40 per Hour Graphic Design Fee.
  • USE HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOGRAPHS AND IMAGES!!!
  • NEVER SUBMIT ARTWORK or AD COPY MADE IN MICROSOFT WORD OR POWERPOINT
